Deferit Referral Program Terms

These Referral Terms (“Terms”) govern participation in the Deferit referral program (the “Referral Program”) operated by Deferit, Inc. (“Deferit,” “we,” or “us”). Participation is voluntarily and by participating in the Referral Program, you (“Biller” or “you”) agree to these Terms.

1. Referral Program Overview

1.1. The Referral Program allows participating billers to refer their customers to learn about and use Deferit’s services, which include Deferit paying eligible bills directly to the biller on the customer’s behalf, with the customer paying back Deferit in four instalments, all in accordance with Deferit’s applicable terms and eligibility (“Terms of Use”). Participation is entirely voluntary.

2. No Compensation

No fees, commissions, incentives, or other compensation are offered or will be provided for participation in the Referral Program or for any referrals made.

3. No Partnership or Agency

Participation in the Referral Program does not create any partnership, agency, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Deferit. You have no authority to act on behalf of Deferit or make representations or commitments for Deferit.

4. Referral Conduct

Any referrals or communications about Deferit must be made in good faith and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

5. Use of Deferit Materials

Any Deferit provided materials, trademarks, or branding may only be used as expressly provided by Deferit and may not be altered or used in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or exclusivity.

6. Customer Relationship

Any relationship between you and your customers remains solely between you and your customers. Deferit is not responsible for any disputes, claims, or issues arising from your relationship with your customers.

7. Data Privacy

To the extent you provide or share any personal information in connection with the Referral Program, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and consents to do so. Any personal information processed by Deferit in connection with the Referral Program will be handled in accordance with Deferit’s Privacy Policy.

8. Termination or Modification

Deferit may modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice.

9. Disclaimer

Deferit makes no warranties regarding outcomes or results from participation in the Referral Program.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deferit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to participation in the Referral Program.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts therein.
