About DEMCO
Demco is a not-for-profit electric cooperative formed in 1938 and owned by its members in Louisiana. The cooperative serves approximately 119,120 meters across seven parishes (Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, and West Feliciana), providing electricity to roughly half a million residents through its 9,234 miles of power lines and 35 substations.
