About Grady EMC
Grady Electric Membership Corporation (Grady EMC) is a member-owned electric cooperative headquartered in Cairo, Georgia. It was formed in 1936 when 175 farmers organized to create their own Rural Electrification Administration cooperative in South Georgia and was incorporated in 1937. Grady EMC serves more than 13,000 members over roughly 3,000 miles of power lines across Grady, Decatur, and Thomas counties in Georgia.
