Lockhart Power Company is an investor-owned electric utility founded in 1912 that operates across five South Carolina counties: Spartanburg, Union, Cherokee, Chester, and York. The company supplies electricity to residential, commercial, industrial, and wholesale customers, with nearly all generated power sourced from renewable sources including hydroelectric and landfill gas operations.
