About Magnolia Electric Power
Magnolia Electric Power Association is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric distribution cooperative incorporated in 1938. Headquartered in Summit, Mississippi, it serves roughly 32,900 meters across six counties in southwest Mississippi, including Pike, Walthall, and parts of Lincoln, Lawrence, Franklin, and Amite counties. The cooperative is governed by a nine-member board of directors elected by its members, and maintains additional local offices in Brookhaven, Tylertown, and Franklin County.
