MPD Electric Cooperative is a nonprofit utility company formed in 2020 through the merger of Marlboro Electric Cooperative and Pee Dee Electric Cooperative. It provides electricity to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal customers across seven South Carolina counties: Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Lee, Marion, and Marlboro.
