About Novec
Novec is the Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative, a member-owned utility organization serving northern Virginia. The cooperative provides electricity distribution, natural gas solutions through Novec Energy Solutions, solar installation, emergency backup generators, and home repair and replacement services.
Novec bills commonly include electricity charges, demand charges, taxes and surcharges, and optional fees for natural gas service. Deferit is unaffiliated with Novec.
How to Pay Your Novec Bill

- Phone: Call 844-574-1512 with checking or debit/credit card (no fee); same-business-day posting; one-time PIN required per transaction.
- Mail: Send payment to Northern Virginia Electric Co-op, P.O. Box 34734, Alexandria, VA 22334-0734; posts within 7-10 business days.
- In-Person: Pay at Lomond Business Center (drop box and kiosk, 8am-4pm) or Minnieville Office (kiosk only); same-day posting if received by 4 p.m.
