Pontotoc Electric Power Association is a rural electric cooperative headquartered in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and is the second oldest rural electric cooperative in the United States, having begun supplying electricity to consumers on March 1, 1935. The cooperative purchases electricity from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and distributes it to residential, commercial, and agricultural customers across Pontotoc, Union, Calhoun, Chickasaw, and Lafayette counties in Northeast Mississippi.
