About Salem Electric
Salem Electric Cooperative is a non-profit, member-owned electric utility company established in 1938 that serves over 20,000 homes, businesses, and farms in Marion, Polk, Yamhill, and Linn counties in Oregon, including the communities of Salem, Aumsville, Sublimity, Turner, and portions of Keizer, Jefferson, and Albany. As a cooperative, profits return to members as capital credits rather than to external shareholders.
