About SMUD
SMUD is a community-owned electric utility serving Sacramento County and parts of Placer County. The utility generates and distributes electricity through a mix of natural gas, hydroelectric facilities, and renewable energy sources.

How to Pay Your SMUD Bill

- Phone: Call 1-888-742-7683 for eCheck payments Mon-Fri 7 AM-7 PM or use automated system 24/7 for residential.
- In-Person: Pay at SMUD Customer Service Center, 6301 S Street, Sacramento, CA 95817 with cash, check, or money order Mon-Fri 8 AM-6 PM.
