What happens if I miss a T-Mobile payment? ›
Once your account is past due, service may be partially suspended, and a full suspension can follow if the balance stays unpaid. During suspension you keep your number and can still reach 611, 911, and 988, and access T-Life to pay, but other calling, texting, and data are limited. A $20 restore from suspend fee per line, for the first three lines, plus tax, is due when you reconnect after a non-payment interruption. Late fees also apply.

Customer Service Tips for T-Mobile Customers
Have these ready before you call. Your T-Mobile account number (on the Manage tab in T-Life, in your account online, or on your paper bill), billing ZIP, mobile number, last bill amount, and preferred payment method. Call Customer Service at 1-800-937-8997 or dial 611 from a T-Mobile phone.
How to read what's impacting your bill. T-Mobile's "Your bill and what's impacting it" page explains one-time charges such as the late fee, restore from suspend, device connection charge, and mobile number change. Check the T-Life Manage tab and the View your bill page to see a line-by-line breakdown and find the charge driving an increase.
How to lower your bill. Set up AutoPay with a linked bank account or debit card to keep monthly bill credits for up to eight lines on a qualifying plan, and pay digitally to avoid the $10 agent and $5 in-store payment support fees. If the challenge is timing cash flow rather than reducing recurring costs, Deferit's Pay-in-4 option can split your bill in 4 installments, subject to eligibility.
