Referral Terms

By using our Referral Program you confirm that you accept the below terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to the terms below, you must not use our Referral Program. The terms ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’ refer to Deferit Pty Ltd, the owner of the platform, whose registered office is located in New South Wales. The terms ‘you’ or ‘your’ refer to you as the product user.

Referrals

1. You may only use our referral program (“Referral Program”) if you are a registered user. If you wish to refer a friend by sharing a unique link or by providing an email address to us you are a “Referrer”. If you have received a coupon code you may also be a part of the Referral Program and you are deemed a “Referent”.
2. Subject to your compliance with the terms of the Referral Program, we shall credit your account with a $14.99 credit towards the membership fee (“Free Month”).
3. The Referral Program requirements are explained in the ‘Earn Rewards’ section of the website or mobile application. You must be logged in to see this section. In order for the Referrer or Referent to gain the benefit in clause 2 above, the Referent needs to sign up and pay their first payment on their first bill with us.
4. The Referent must apply the coupon code before the first payment on their bill is processed by us, otherwise the Free Month will be applied to the next active month when the membership fee is payable for both the Referrer or Referent as applicable.
5. Provided you meet the requirements (as in effect at that time) more than once, you are entitled to a Free Month each time you meet such requirements.

Prohibited Use

You may only use our Referral Program in good faith. You may not:

1. use the Referral Program to invite existing customers;
2. use the Referral Program in any way that breaches any applicable laws; or
3. transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).

Data Protection

You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with.

Referent’s Consent

As a Referent, if you apply the Referrer’s coupon in your account to obtain a Free Month you expressly agree and acknowledge that we allow the Referrer to see whether you signed up by virtue of your registered email address and whether you have used our service solely for the purposes of them ascertaining if they received a Free Month.

Should you not wish for the Referrer to know that you signed up or used our service, do not apply the Referrer’s coupon in your account.

Abuse Of The Referral Terms

We have the right to refuse to give you the Free Month if (in our reasonable discretion) we suspect that you have not used the Referral Program in good faith or have breached this Agreement.

Changes To These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Referral Program shall amount to acceptance of the Agreement in effect at that time.

Changes To The Referral Program

We reserve the right to:

• amend, alter or change the Referral Program at any time, with notice; and
• terminate the Referral Program at any time, with notice.

In the event the Referral Program is terminated, we will honor any credits that would have otherwise qualified for the Free Month up until termination.
