Deferit Referral Terms & Conditions

Referral Program Terms

By using our Referral Program, you confirm that you accept the below terms and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to the terms below, you must not use our Referral Program. The terms ‘us’, ‘our’ or ‘we’ refer to Deferit Inc, the owner of the platform. The terms ‘you’ or ‘your’ refer to you as the product user.

1. Invitation

Participation in the Referral Program is by invitation only. If you have received an invitation from Deferit via email or SMS, you are eligible to participate.

2. Referral Rewards

Eligible participants will receive $30 USD (“Reward”) for each Eligible New Customer they refer to Deferit using their unique referral link, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Each referrer may receive a maximum of 5 rewards during the promotion period. No additional rewards will be payable after the referrer reaches this limit.

3. Eligibility for rewards

To be eligible to receive a reward, the referrer must meet the following conditions:

be a legal resident of the United States;
be at least 18 years old;
have a valid Deferit account in good standing;
have an active paid Deferit membership;
remain an active paid Deferit member at the time the reward is approved and issued;
must have referred an Eligible New Customer; and
must meet the reward conditions outlined in [5] below.

4. Eligible New Customer

To qualify as an Eligible Referred Customer, the referred person must meet the following conditions:

be a new Deferit customer;
not be a current, former, suspended, cancelled, or previously registered Deferit customer;
sign up using the referrer’s valid referral link;
complete account registration; and
successfully activate their account by paying the Deferit membership fee.

Former customers are not eligible as referred customers under this promotion.

5. Reward Conditions

A reward is earned only if all of the following occur:

the referrer shares their valid referral link;
the referred person uses that referral link to sign up for a new Deferit account;
the referred person successfully pays their first Deferit membership fee; and
the referrer remains an active paid Deferit member until the reward is processed.

When sharing your referral link, you must inform the person you are referring to that you will receive a financial reward if they sign up and pay their first membership fee. The referred customer does not receive any incentive under this promotion unless Deferit expressly states otherwise.

6. Reward Amount

For each eligible referred customer, the eligible referrer will receive one $30 USD (“Reward”).

Rewards will be fulfilled as a virtual card, or another equivalent reward method selected by Deferit in its discretion.

Rewards are:

non-transferable;
not exchangeable;
not redeemable for cash; and
subject to verification and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

7. Processing

Processing times may vary but we will aim to process rewards within 14 business days after the referred customer has activated their Deferit account.

Deferit may delay reward fulfilment where reasonably necessary for fraud checks, payment validation, operational review, technical investigation, or third-party fulfilment processing.

8. Referral Link Requirement

Referrals must be made using the unique referral link provided by Deferit. Deferit may decline to honor referrals that cannot be properly tracked or attributed to the referrer through its systems.

9. Prohibited Public Posting or Disclosure

Referral links are for personal, direct sharing only.

Participants must not:

publish or post referral links on public websites;
share referral links on coupon, discount, deal, cashback, or promotion sites;
post referral links on forums, blogs, public comment sections, or public social media pages;
distribute referral links through affiliate networks or commercial lead-generation channels; or
otherwise publicly disclose a referral link in a way that makes it broadly available to the general public.

Any referral activity involving prohibited public posting or disclosure may result in disqualification, cancellation of rewards, or removal from the promotion.

Prohibited Use

You may only use our Referral Program in good faith. You may not:

create or attempt to create multiple, duplicate, fake, or misleading accounts;
use the Referral Program in any way that breaches any applicable laws;
transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam); or
make misleading statements about Deferit, its services, fees, or this promotion.

Privacy

By participating in the promotion, participants acknowledge that Deferit may collect, use, and review information relating to referral activity for purposes including promotion administration, referral attribution, payment validation, fraud detection, customer support, operational fulfilment, and reporting.

Abuse Of The Referral Terms

We have the right to refuse to give payment of the reward if (in our reasonable discretion) we suspect that you have not used the Referral Program in good faith or have breached this Agreement.

Changes To These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Referral Program shall amount to acceptance of the Agreement in effect at that time.

Changes To The Referral Program

We reserve the right to:

amend, alter or change the Referral Program at any time, with or without notice; and
terminate the Referral Program at any time with or without notice.

If the Referral Program is terminated, any referral awards you have earned will be honored up until the date of termination.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Deferit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Referral Program, including but not limited to loss of anticipated rewards, loss of profits, or loss of data. Without limiting the foregoing, Deferit is not responsible for delayed or failed reward delivery caused by technical issues, unavailable referral links or landing pages, transmission failures, third-party restrictions beyond our control, or fulfilment delays caused by reward providers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Decision

If you believe a referral has not been correctly tracked, you may contact us at [earn@deferit.com] within 30 days of you being eligible. To the extent permitted by law, Deferit’s decisions regarding eligibility, referral attribution, payment qualification, fraud, abuse, compliance, fulfilment, and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions are final.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Delaware.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
